My Insurance client base din the City of London is seeking a Partner Delivery Manager to have the primary responsibility for the commercial arrangements with any service provider. With significant focus on relationship management, the Partner Delivery manager will negotiate and manage contractual obligations.

Partner Delivery Manager - General Description

* Lead the engagement with external service suppliers and partners to deliver any
commercial arrangements for individual projects or transformational programmes.
* Actively develop and maintain strong relationships with key service suppliers, senior
executives, colleagues and peers across the group to achieve exceptional levels of quality
and service
* Engage with major service suppliers and internal customers to commercially manage major
outsourcing or off shoring contracts
* Hold regular reviews with service suppliers to ensure all terms and conditions are met and
that any problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner
* Negotiate and agree contracts/ statements of work with service suppliers to optimise value
for money whilst building a long term relationship
* Liaise with internal service recipients to understand performance standards and key issues
to drive and improve future service delivery
* Participate in the negotiation process to resolve performance deficiencies or issues to
ensure operational levels are maintained
* Effectively manage service and change issues impacting the delivery of the contract to
ensure agreed services are delivered to requirements
* Provide information regarding contract and service issues/ changes (compliance,
modifications, deviations, negotiations etc) to support and inform decision making
* Identify, manage and mitigate sourcing risks in all contractual arrangements, to comply to
all internal or regulatory requirements and policies
* Drive any processes necessary for engaging and executing major contracts to support the
successful delivery of the business
* Contribute to the IT Sourcing Strategy and Framework for the IT organisation to delivery
business strategy

Partner Delivery Manager - Essential Requirements

* Experience of Service Level Agreement measurement and review
* Experience of contract execution and ongoing delivery of contractual obligations
* Experience of managing external service suppliers in the technology sector
* Proven experience of successfully negotiating complex service agreements
* Understanding of IT trends and the implications for the business
* Relationship Management - ability to cooperate/ collaborate with business representatives
and third party service suppliers
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Contract handling and dispute resolution skills
* Ability to challenge whilst maintaining a positive relationship
* Ability to present information concisely and to clearly identify key issues
